How the mark the graves in the cemetery so they can be identified according to the directory was discussed. Harold will go to Sylvan Grove to check stone markers to mark the rows in the cemetery.

Maynard and Lee Mondrow will check for unmarked graves north of Hopefield and also at Peabody.

T. James Goering reported on the web. The webmaster has resigned. We have not been operating in full force. He suggested we decide whether we wish to continue with the web and if so we need to get a paid webmaster. He would be more committed than a volunteer. The approximate cost of operating the web for one year is $20 for the annual registration fee, $240 for the hosting fee and $20-$40 per hour -3 to 4hours per month.

Discussion about whether we should continue.

The web conveys a wide range of information Can be used as a marketing tool Need to continue to keep the interest of the young people Do we have money for operating costs? If we decide to continue, we need to inform our churches, periodicals and Mennonite colleges that we are on the web.

Motion by Ozzie, seconded by Maynard that we support a 1 year commitment to the web site, being funded by our reserve money, not to exceed $3,000.

Carried.

Who should we hire as webmaster? Rich will contact Paul Ortman and Arnold will contact Dennis Quiring to find out whether either one would be interested in being a webmaster. T. James Goering will check about changing our name.

Decided we need to bring the by-laws up to date.
